EUDR, what does that involve ?

Starting from December 30, 2025, operators and traders in the cocoa sector will need to comply with the new European Union regulation.

Operators and traders who place products on the EU market or export them from the EU must demonstrate that their products are:

Deforestation-free

100% traceable throughout the supply chain

Compliant with applicable legislation

The regulation also covers other commodities: rubber, coffee, palm oil, wood, soy, and cattle.

1/ Exporter training

  • Presentation of the list of relevant documents in case of an inspection, along with their acceptance criteria.

2/ Assessment of the exporter’s ability to handle customs inspections

  • Simulation of a customs inspection on a specific export lot.
  • Verification and analysis of the documentation provided by the exporter.
